Hi,

While looking up information on the internet about Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy I came across your message. My dog (a three year old standard poodle) was diagnosed with SLO about three months ago. He is now on medication for this disease. Until the beginning of the year he was a very active dog, doing agility and flyball. I had to stop with all this because he was losing toenails all the time. I wonder if he will ever be able to do dog sport again?

I'm glad to hear that Schwartz is doing well. I've always had a soft spot for him.

Cap's brother Audie does the same 'carry things around' thing. He's obsessed with shoes - never chews them, just carries them - especially to greet people he likes. It's actually kind of cute and - we can tell how happy he is by the size of the shoe. Once when I'd been gone all day he met me with one of Mark's size 13 ice fishing boots in his mouth. It was almost as big as he is!

What a great action shot! It's so nice to know what Cap enjoys doing. Now, you just need some frisbees, jumps, and sheep.

Captain Caveman!!!!! I love both those pictures of Cap. That was such a fun weekend and the dogs had such a fun, educational, relaxing time. It was great to see all of them enjoying themselves so much, and us relaxing. Playing more is a great resolution Faye!!!

A great reminder! Walking is great for us all. Now, to remember the commitment at those cold, wee morning hours while taking out the puppy!
